The Perfect Balance of Aesthetics and Function
Expert Rhinoplasty in Yerevan by Dr. Arthur Hakobyan
Rhinoplasty is widely considered the most complex and artistic procedure in plastic surgery. The nose is the central feature of your face—even a millimeter of change can transform your entire look.
We adhere to the principle of Functional Aesthetics: a beautiful nose must also breathe perfectly. We do not create "cookie-cutter" noses. We sculpt a nose that harmonizes with your unique facial proportions, preserving your individuality—but in its absolute best version.

FAQ about rhinoplasty
Have questions about scheduling or what to expect? Here are answers to common inquiries to help you feel fully prepared.
Surprisingly, patients report very little pain after rhinoplasty. The main discomfort is simply congestion and the need to wear a cast for the first week.
A tiny incision is made on the columella, which becomes virtually invisible within 2 months.
For females, from 16-17 years old; for males, from 18 years old (once facial bone growth is complete).
You can start light walking immediately to improve circulation. Heavy lifting and gym workouts can be resumed after 3–4 weeks. Contact sports (boxing, football, basketball) should be avoided for at least 3–6 months to protect the nasal bones while they fully harden.
You should not rest glasses directly on the bridge of your nose for 3–4 months after surgery, as the pressure can alter the bone structure. We recommend wearing contact lenses or taping your glasses to your forehead during this period.
You will see a significant improvement immediately after the cast is removed. However, the nose takes time to settle. About 80% of the swelling goes away in the first month. The remaining 20% (mostly at the tip) disappears gradually over 6–12 months. This requires patience, but the result is worth it.
Skin thickness plays a major role in the final definition. Patients with thick skin may have prolonged swelling and require special techniques to define the tip. During the consultation, I will explain realistically what can be achieved with your skin type.
